Information regarding Jaguar E-Type Roadster Outside Bonnet Latch:
Delivered as the third E-Type in July 1961 in Italy to Fattori & Montani,Roma,Italy.
First owner: Autoimport U Fadini G de Gobbis,Verona,Italy
Information we found about the car’s history:
– First delivery in Italy
– Restoration in the early 1990s

– 2001 till 2011 in Spanish collection
– In Germany from 2011
– Restoration 2013/2014 in Germany
Purchased by a German E-type lover in 2011 from Thomas Minden GMBH. Frankfurt/M
The car was driven at that moment ca 4.400 KM after a former upgrade / restoration in Spain.
In the sales agreement and valuation report of 2011 is mentioned that the car came from Spain and was part of a private collection.
The quality of that ‘restoration ‘was lower than the German owner expected and he decided to have a lot of things redone what ended up in a rather complete restoration. This ‘full’ restoration was done by a German British car specialist and is documented with receipts and Photo’s.
Around € 75.000 was spent in repairs, bare metal respray and technical work.
The car was in his possession from 2011 till 2020 till he passed away.
We have a binder with several receipts from 2011 regarding maintenance and some info about the history. In 2020 a complete new interior (BAS International UK) in the correct original black color was installed and the car was detailed on several points.
