Jaguar XK 140 SE , 1954, Exellent Driver quality!
This XK 140 OTS was originally delivered to it’s first owner in December 1954.
The original distributor was Hoffman , New York USA. Originally the body color was Birch Grey.
The SE examples were more powerfull, had a double exhaust, foglamps and a C-Head. On the JDHT is mentioned that this is a XK 140 SE but without the C-Head option.
Around 1990 the car underwent a total and good repaint in it’s current shade of very attractive red. Besides the paint everything what had to be done was done by specialists. The interior, chrome technics like brakes, carbs electrics and a complete engine rebuild etc.
Recently new spoke wheels and tyres were fitted and after the rather long restoration period the car got a Dutch registration and put it’s first miles on the road.
We are very confident how the car drives, shifts etc. This Jaguar is ready for the coming season and it is a pleasure to own a car like this.
