Delivered by distributor Delecroix, Paris, France to its first owner Mr. N.W.Lewis in April 1964.

This 1964 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe, 6cyl, 3.8 L has been owned by the same family since new. The car has 90K original miles.When new it was driven daily for 10 plus years, for the past 40 years driven on a limited basis. It has the original chrome wire wheels, owners manual, original bill of sale, tools and maintenance receipts.

The car was worked on in the early 2000’s. It has leather seats, centre console, wood rimmed steering wheel and original AM/FM/Marine Band Blaupunkt radio. The vehicle runs great and everything is in working order. This vehicle was appraised by AAG on August 19, 2015 and was given an overall rating of very Good.

When we bought this unique E-Type form the owners daughter the Carbs (3) were just rebuilt and a new gas tank and fuel pump were installed. So this is not the shabby so called barn find car that suffers from lack of maintenance over the years. This car is pampered, garage kept and shows originality. The former owners installed some new interior parts and gave the car a respray in the past.

When the car arrived in 2017 we noticed that the paint on the hood was unfortunately damaged by a leak of coolant/ or brake fluid of a car that was stored during transport in the top of the container so we decided to give the whole car a respray in the original colour. The body was absolutely solid and rust-free but by doing this we had the chance to correct some imperfections in the paint. Now this unrestored well maintained FHC looks gorgeous with all the original chrome parts and glass.

This is an E-Type for the real connoisseur and lover of this timeless beauty.
